Oceanside Model Railroaders
I met a few of the guys in this Parksville, BC club just as we left the Parksville area for Comox.

When we were on our way back to the Island, I contacted Mac W to see if he needed a hand with anything. "Definitely yes" was his response. Turns out Mac is building an HO scale switching layout on the upper level of what was his N scale layout. He had a number of wood kits he passed to me to build.

I haven't built a wood kit for many years, but it's like riding a bike, you don't really forget. However, what I did forget was how much fun a wood kit is. You really work with a wood kit, making things fit. It's a lot different than assembling a plastic kit.
