Sunday Jun 09                                              Sun, cloud, & rain                                               Cranbrook, BC
Today was kind of an iffy day weather-wise. Some sun, lots of white and dark puffy clouds interspersed with short periods of heavy rain. Interesting.

Tomorrow we move to Creston while our cargo trailer friend, Garnett, heads for Kimberley. So after 5 weeks travelling together, it seemed appropriate to have a last supper together. It has really been fun getting to know Garnett and his navigator Rosie. I swear that one of these days her bum is just going to fall off, the way she wags her tail when we are near. She's a cutie.

We had hoped the weather would calm down enough for us to have
dinner outside, but it didn't so we enjoyed our last supper inside.

Jen set the table up - our gateleg table worked great.

Oh, for you foodies, Jen cooked her world-famous Beef Stew. It was
delicious!

After dinner, I took a group shot.
And, not to be left out, here's Rosie.....
The weather is set to improve this week. Hopefully Creston will not be as windy and variable as what Cranbrook has been this past week.

Join us tomorrow as we head south west into the Creston Valley.
