Tuesday Jun 18                                               Sunny, cloudy, & warm                                         Creston, BC
This morning, we said goodbye to Barry & Pat, our neighbours for the past few days at Scottie's. Here they are, about to hitch their car to their 40' diesel pusher motorhome. Really very nice couple, not too shabby a rig.

We chatted for hours last evening with Barry & Pat over beer and wine. That Skimmerhorn Rose was really pleasant.

The sun set and when it started to get dark, Barry switched on the cool blue lights underneath their rig. Methinks we need to add something similar to our rig.

So, after coffee this morning, we drove to
Tigz Tea Hut Experience on the main drag
of Creston. We sampled 3 iced teas, bought
a Hawaiian Rooibos, and a jar of antipasto.

Creston still has 2 grain elevators, one of which houses a local art gallery.
Throughout Creston is "street art" like this...
Well, time for a coffee, so we headed to Buffalo Trails. Nice coffee shop with equally nice treats.

Afterwards, it was time to head back to Scottie's.

Join us tomorrow when we head for the Discovery Centre at the Creston Valley Wildlife Management Area about 11kms west on Hwy 3.

We're taking a guided canoe tour through the wetlands. The weather is meant to cooperate; should be good fun.
And this, in front of the bakery...
