May 7 - Problem Fixed, But.....
Insert text here.
Another nice day and another van problem! This IS getting tiring!!

We were heading to friends David and Laraine's today but I really needed to take the van, minus the trailer, for a good run to let the "stuff" Fountain Tire put in the tank yesterday to work its magic (the Engine Check Light came on again this morning).

After a  drive to Chilliwack and back, the light did NOT come on. YEA!!

As I really appreciated the extra effort from the guys at FT, I stopped by to thank them. I mentioned to Jeff, the owner, I'd be back in August for a set of tires. He said "Let's take a look and I can have them here for you." Long story short, I'm glad he did!! The van is having new tires and shocks installed on Friday morning - jeesh, it never rains but it pours!!

Needless to say I am glad I stopped. I cannot imagine what could have happened if Jeff had not noticed the condition of the tires. These were tires I purchased 14 months ago on my trip back from Florida with the van to NS!! Something has definitely been amiss! And no one mentioned anything - I had a service done on the van before we left Parksville, including rotating the tires!

Anyway, enough of that! On to more positive things!

The weather has been grand again today - blue skies, brilliant sunshine, and temps in the mid-20s!

Tonight, we took our friend Richard, whose driveway we have taken over for the last 2 nights (and again tonight), to dinner. A good time was had by all.

And finally we booked into the Canyon Alpine RV Park in Boston Bar in the Fraser Canyon for Saturday night and maybe longer. Pictures of the sites looked really nice, and they have WiFi!
