Wednesday May 13 -  On to 100 Mile House
Insert text here.
Jennie was up early this morning. So we were fed and watered early too! We pulled out of Brookside Campsite before 9 a.m. on our way north

When we rolled into Clinton, BC less than an hour later, neither of us felt like we wanted to stop - it was too early in the day - so we continued up Hwy 97 to 100 Mile House.

My old chum's wife Mary volunteers one day a week at their church's food bank. Today was the day, so we thought we'd stop by and surprise her. We sure did!! After a really big bear hug (I survived!!), Mary went out to say hello to Jennie (another big bear hug!). It's been 6 years since we last saw these guys on our trip across the country to Nova Scotia in early 2009.

Mary gave us the keys to the house. We said "See you shortly" and headed off. We pulled into the driveway just as Colin was heading into town to pick Mary up. More bear hugs ensued.

Colin left and Jen and I set up camp in the side yard. We got the trailer ready for the "big reveal!"

A short while later, the guys arrived home and we started catching up!
