Feb 20 - Rotary Sea Walk, Campbell River, BC
What a difference a day makes! We awoke to glorious sunshine albeit a little cool (0C).

I went for my morning walk and took this picture - a bit different than the other day!

We strolled to the southern end of the walk, then turned around. Back at the van, I hopped in while Jen continued north on the Sea Walk. We met a short distance later and drove into downtown Campbell River. It was coffee time!!

On the way to The Java Shack, we saw this display. Doesn't look like too much right now, but it will really be colourful if the weather forecast for next week holds true - imagine the daffodils in bloom (and it is still mid-February)!
We headed back to Alfie, loaded Jen's wheelchair, and headed to Crabby Bob's Seafood on Fisherman's Wharf in the harbour. We relieved Abby of a couple of Sockeye salmon tails (we prefer the tails - no bones), headed back to Alfie and back to the RV park.

BBQ Salmon and salad for dinner - a treat to look forward to.

A nice day all in all!

After breakfast, we decided to get out and enjoy the day. We drove towards Campbell River and stopped close to the beginning of the Rotary Sea Walk just south of town. This paved walk follows the shoreline for 6 kms. We parked Alfie and head south, into the slight breeze. Along the way, we found these markers:

Back in the van, we drove to the pier. It was a bit breezy walking the pier but the sunshine sure was nice.
