Friday Jun 07                                                 Cloudy, cool, & windy                                        Marysville, BC
Here's what the temperature looked like at 0707 this morning. (I haven't changed this clock to MST). That's 15C inside, 6C outside. Brrrrr!!!

After a relaxing morning, Jen suggested we check out the Interpretive Centre at Saint Eugene Mission. We turned off the highway heading north on Mission Road. Looks like some weather over there! Good thing we've arrived at the hotel/casino where the Interpretive Centre is.
The Interpretive Centre was small but interesting. It talked a lot about residential schools. After the Centre, we walked to the residential school building, now some sort of restaurant.
We decided to continue on Mission Road to see where we ended up. When we arrived at Hwy 95A we were just a few clicks south of Marysville. We decided to go check out the Marysville Falls.

In the park across from the parking area we saw this.
Across the highway, across the pedestrian bridge, and down the path, I looked back at the bridge.
Jen & I walked down the path to the falls and back.
After the falls, it was time for a tea. Jen said she saw a coffee place on the way into Marysville. After a couple of blocks, with no coffee shop in sight, I walked back to Alfie while Jen continued on. I arrived at the Koffee Kan just as Jen did.

We enjoyed a Rooibos tea and cookie each.

The Koffee Kan was constructed using shipping containers:
2 - 40' and 2 - 20' containers side by each in an L-shaped configuration. This is the first time either of us has been in a structure made of shipping containers. Boy, I tell you, the ideas just started flowing.

After tea we headed back to Ali, patiently waiting at the RV park. That's it for today. See you next time.
