Wednesday May 1                   Sun, cloud, rain, snow (did I miss anything?)                            Clearwater, BC
We began our May adventures by saying goodbye to our friends Colin & Mary. It's been an enjoyable visit, but one month down, five to go, we must move on.

Sunny and 13C in 100 Mile but as we drove east on Hwy 24, heading for Little Fort, all sorts of weather appeared. Sun, rain, snow repeated more than once. The temperature dropped to 4C then started to climb again.

We pulled through the Lac des Roches rest stop and took a couple of pictures. Last Friday, returning from Kamloops with Colin, the lake was entirely covered in ice.

Fortunately by the time we arrived at the 10 km, 8% down grade into Little Fort, the snow had stopped.

At our coffee stop just north of the Hwy 24/Hwy 5 (Yellowhead) intersection, the temperature was back at 12C with a little bit of rain.

We here for a couple of nights, visiting our old friends, Dave & Janet (Colin's sister). It's always fun with these two!
