Thursday May 2                                          Sun, cloud, but mild                                             Clearwater, BC
After a leisurely breakfast this morning, we decided to head in to Clearwater. By the time we got our proverbial together it was time for coffee. We went looking for a coffee shop, then Jen suggested I use my phone.

Well, wouldn't you know it; up popped the Strawberry Moose Snackery. We've been here before. Treats were great but the coffee was pretty watery - disappointing.

After coffee and a visit to the Tourist Bureau across the street, we were on our way to Dutch Lake for a walk along the Clearwater River.
We walked along the river on a narrow trail 20 feet or so above the river. We came across this interesting device.
We walked for a few minutes more but Jen found the uneven ground tough on the muscles in her legs, so we turned around and headed back to Alfie.

After a visit to the local grocery store, we drove around the North Thompson Provincial Park. Many nice campsites with lots of space between them. The ones backing on to the river looked really welcoming.

Back at Janet & Dave's, we enjoyed a relaxing afternoon. Tonight we're heading out to a local eatery for dinner.

See you tomorrow when we drive south through Kamloops and on to Enderby, BC.
