Wednesday Jul 10                                               Cloudy & warm then sun                                 Castlegar, BC
Yesterday was so bloomin' sunny and hot, we ended up just relaxing at the RV park. Our new "zero-gravity" lounge chairs are certainly more comfortable that our old lawn chairs.

But this morning, the cloud cover meant slightly cooler temperatures so
after coffee "at home", we ventured out to Zuckerberg Island Heritage Park
just south of the Millennium Park we visited back in May.
On the way, we stopped at the library. Then it was on to the park.

We walked across the suspension bridge and counter-clockwise around the island. On the Kootenay River side, we headed inland towards the Chapel House. But it was closed as were the washrooms. What gives? It's July and the facilities at this park are closed?!
We walked back to Alfie across the causeway (the road was raised because of flooding), so I guess technically Zuckerberg Island is really a peninsula. Anyway, we enjoyed the walk, but we were disappointed that the Chapel House was closed.

That's the excitement for today. We'll see you next time.
