Wednesday Sep 4                                                  Sunny                               Maple Ridge, W. Vancouver, BC
We left Hope this morning just before 9 a.m. We decided to forego the pleasure of the 4-lane madness of Hwy 1 for the more pleasant Hwy 7 on the north shore of the Fraser River. This route goes the Agassiz, Mission, Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows and onto Hwy 1 just west of the Port Mann bridge.

We stopped at Bruce's Market on the east side of Maple Ridge for a coffee.

When we merged onto Hwy 1 and got closer in, we marvelled at all the condos built and being built along the Skytrain route.
Much to our surprise, we arrived at Caulfeild Village to meet Ross just before noon. We had a pleasant visit then just after
1 p.m., we walked back to the rig and drove the couple of miles to the ferry terminal.

After a short wait, we boarded the ferry.

At the other end, when the opened the front doors, we were
looking at a very steep ramp. Notice the ramp itself is in two
sections, so the staff could have made the angle a lot less,
but I guess that was too much effort.

Anyway I took it slow, didn't scrape any undercarriage, and
headed off to Langdale Heights RV Park.

We're here for a week so if we do anything exciting I will
update the blog.
